Under the pseudonym “Zia Mariù” she collaborated in newspapers and magazines, including “Il Corriere dei Piccoli”. Many were her philanthropic activities on behalf of children: among other things she organized institutions for the children of the retrieved and orphans of the First World War, an initiative which led to the foundation of “The house of the sun”. She organized rural small libraries for the poor children living far from town.
