Common projects and ideas. Raising the awarness of heritage resting in European cemeteries.
Finding common heritage symbols and customs or creating joint events stimulates the local communities to explore the cemeteries. Presenting diversity of European cemeteries through common projects helps visitors realize that these are not places of death and silence. Cemeteries become places of life, memories and deep thoughts on society.
For these reasons ASCE as the managing organization of Cemeteries route is actively motivating members to participate in various joint projects. Many of them were a huge success and increased interest in the cemetery culture and life.
