Haramija Tomb

Double tomb, cultural heritage site status (first category).

Author of this work: Ivan Rendić.

This impressive double stone tomb built alongside many other tombs, is represented by a tall square base decorated with side volutes and semi-columns. Columns are embellished with details belonging to Mesopotamian architecture.

The base panel holds metal posts which are a part of richly embellished low metal railing. Moreover, the stone stele resembles a pagoda over a floral mosaic half-moon. The central part holds a praying bust (Our Father) of a girl with her hands in prayer. The finishing touch of the stele is a colorful mosaic with vibrant floral patterns.
