Francesco CIRIO (1836 – 1900)

He was an industrialist who, as early as 1856, dedicated himself to the production of preserved foods. In 1875, he built his first factory in Turin, establishing a major presence both in Italy and abroad. In 1900, shortly after his death, the company relocated its headquarters to San Giovanni a Teduccio (Naples).
