Symbols, interesting as signs of profession and the importance of the city of Maribor
This theme trail follows visual professional symbols. We chose the symbols of those professions which have played a prominent role in the development of Maribor and enrich its cultural pulse. These are the railroad worker, architect, lawyer, writer and poet, historian, mechanical engineer, carpenter, blacksmith, scientist and beekeeper, conductor, enologist, sculptor, gymnast and painter. Listed professions and their symbols are placed in the context of particular historical period of Maribor and role, which they played in the development of it. In this frame is also included some personal stories of the deceased, their contribution to the city and the world.
