Improvements in our work

Working on our mission is strongly affected by the willingness to improve the processes, enhance our networking activities and evaluate all together.In this manner, regular evaluations performed by the European Institute of Cultural routes are an enormous benefit to our mission. Monitoring various aspects of our activities and comparing them with the activities of other organisations in the cultural and tourism field contributes to the added value of our activities.

Improvements in the government networking

For any member of the European Cemeteries Route, being part of the Cultural routes of Europe program makes it easier to open the right doors. The Cultural routes programme is in fact supervised by the cultural ministries of the 38 countries that participate within. Committed to work on preservation and promotion of cultural heritage of Europe.

Improvements in the research and cooperation with the academic sector

Cultural routes and their members are interesting for many kinds of research. As this research and academic work can be funded by governmental resources, it is reasonable to connect with the researchers to find ideas for the work.Erasmus and other programs of exchanges open doors to get human resources for developing particular areas of work.

Possibilities in cultural crossroads concept

Most of all, creating new activities with partners from other cultural routes may be the biggest opportunity. Especially since such an approach touches the very heart of cultural tourists. Possibilities of discovering a city or region through the stories that include various topics from cemeteries to wine or religion may be the most ideal version of cultural travelling.

What’s next?

We are moving on with the recommendations from this evaluation. Developing more official connections in the academic network, progressing on cooperation with other routes.Yet we maintain the projects that we developed and are bringing the biggest added value to our mission.
