About my cemetery work

My name is Mahmut Okcesiz and I am the head of Kusadasi Cultural & Historical Heritage Preservation since 2011

I have been certified tour guide for 25 years all over Turkey and I am also authorised tour guide about Turkish cemeteries for 8 years. I have been workin on historical gravestones and cemeteries not only in Kusadasi but also Istanbul, Edirne, Bursa and Konya cities cemeteries.

I have also a book published about historiacal cemetery of Kusadasi Adalizade in 2013. I am also preaparing a new book all over leading Turkish gravestones and cemeteries.

Our association has already organised one domestic and one international gravestones & cemetries congress with the help of Adnan Menderes University of Aydin. We have a lot of experince in this subject.

Other info

I am the one of the authorised expert about historical Turkish gravestones and cemeteries. I have been done so many tour prorammes and hundred of short excursions on cemeteries. I know how to guide and how to teach necessary words and useful expressions in cemeteries. I have guided so many different tour groups from school kids to adults. I have worked with teenagers, school teachers and managers, working staffs, univertsity students, adults, housewives, retired people and foreing guests, especially American, British, German and Norwegian tourist groups.

WorkingDays: From nine to five, seven days of the week, throughout the year including with off-seasons, holidays and all time.

Prices: 100 US per hour, up to 10 people, between 11 and 20 people 150 US per hour.

The short tour takes at least two-three hours.
